Health Care Reform: watered down, public option abandoned, took a year and half to pass while the economic crisis and urgent need for more stimulus were ignored, and after all that will probably be thrown out.
Stimulus: watered down fatally, in a dumb attempt to achieve “bipartisan compromise”; causing recession to linger until now and resulting in loss of control of the House in 2010.
Wall Street Reform: watered down, Elizabeth Warren abandoned as nominee.
War in Iraq: Should have pulled out on 1/20/09. “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?”
I don’t see Afghanistan on this list. Why are we still there? Will you promise not to attack Iraq?
Also not on this list: the massive increase in deportations compared to Bush, a crackdown on medical marijuana (I don’t remember voting for that), a crackdown on journalists including Espionage Act prosecution. Overruling the FDA on access to Plan B for teen girls.
